Qantas Australian Under 13 Boys Head Coach, Ante Juric has selected twenty two (22) players to represent Australia at the upcoming Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Under 13 Boys - Festival of Football which will be held in Sabah, Malaysia from 30 May to 6 June 2009.

Juric, selected the squad following a recent training camp which was held in Canberra and is very pleased with the composition of his final group of players.

“It was a pleasure to work with all the players in our recent camp, even though it was for a short period of time.

“They all adapted well to the 1-4-3-3 style of play that we are now working with and which we will continue to work on when we get to Malaysia.

“We have selected the best technical players from the camp. These players showed an excellent understanding of the fundamentals of the game and we will be looking to improve on that knowledge when we go away.

“The results in Malaysia aren-t so important, but the experience that these players will receive is invaluable,” concluded Juric.
