NATIONWIDE DIVISION ONE Play Off Final Date: 29-05-04 *         Qantas Socceroo Tony Popovic played a full game as Crystal Palace won 1-0 against West Ham United at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. Palace-s win earned them promotion to the Premier League next season.

NATIONWIDE DIVISION TWO Play Off Final Date: 30-05-04 *          Qantas Australian Under 23 Luke Wilkshire came on in the 82nd minute as Bristol City lost 1-0 against Brighton and Hove Albion at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. Meanwhile, for Brighton, Paul Reid (pictured right) came on in the 62nd minute. Brighton-s win earned them promotion to Nationwide Division One next season.   ACTION IN EUROPE…

DANISH DIVISION ONE (SUPERLIGAEN) Date: 29-05-04 *         Qantas Australian Under 23 Shane Cansdell-Sherriff as AGF Aarhus lost 2-0 at home against Viborg.

DUTCH DIVISION TWO (HOLLAND CASINO ERE DIVISIE/GOUDEN GIDS DIVISIE) Play-Off B Date: 31-05-04 *         Qantas Australian Under 23 Brett Holman played a full game as Excelsior drew 2-2 away to Heracles Almelo. Date: 28-05-04 *         Lindsay Wilson played a full game as FC Volendam lost 2-1 at home against Excelsior. Meanwhile, for Excelsior, Qantas Australian Under 23 Brett Holman came on in the 60th minute and scored the winning goal in the 75th minute. Date: 25-05-04 *         Qantas Australian Under 23 Brett Holman came on in the 79th minute as Excelsior won 2-1 at home against FC Volendam. Meanwhile, for Volendam, Lindsay Wilson played a full game.

NORWEGIAN CUP (NM CUPEN) Date: 26-05-04 *         Shane Stefanutto featured for Lillestrom as they won 8-0 away to Lillehammer. *         Qantas Australian Under 23 Dylan Macallister was replaced in the 45th minute but not before scoring in the 10th and 25th minutes as Brann Bergen won 5-0 away to Norheimsund.   NORWEGIAN DIVISIONE ONE (ELITESERIEN) Date: 31-05-04 *         Shane Stefanutto played a full game while Kasey Wehrman came on in the 86th minute as Lillestrom drew 1-1 away to Ham Kam.

ROMANIAN DIVISION ONE Date: 30-04-04 *         Qantas Australian Under 23 Jon McKain played a full game as National Bucharesti lost 2-1 away to FCM Bacau. National is in 10th position with one game remaining.   SWISS DIVISION ONE Date: 31-04-04 *         Joel Griffiths played a full game and created the final goal of the game as Neuchatel Xamax lost 2-1 away to FC Vaduz. The goal gave Neuchatel a 3-2 aggregate win and assured them of a place in the Swiss Axpo Super League next season. MALAYSIAN DIVISION ONE (SUPER LEAGUE) Date: 29-05-04 *         Ante Milicic scored the opening goal in the 1st minute as Pahang won 4-2 away to Public Bank.

SINGAPORE DIVISION ONE (S-LEAGUE) Date: 26-05-04 *         Alex Duric played a full game and scored the second goal of the game in the 61st minute as Geylang United drew 2-2 at home against Sinchi FC. Duric was named S.League.com Man of the Match after also creating the opening goal in the 34th minute. Date: 25-05-04 *         Jon Angelucci played a full game and scored the winning goal in the 74th minute as Singapore Armed Forces won 3-2 at home against Albirex Niigata. Angelucci was named S.League.com Man of the Match after also creating the opening goal in the 23rd minute.

ACTION IN AMERICA…   W LEAGUE (W-LEAGUE) Date: 29-05-04 *         Caitlin Munoz was replaced in the 69th minute but not before scoring the opening two goals in the 15th and 26th minute as Boston Renegades won 5-0 at home against New York Magic. Stacey Stocco also started for Boston and was replaced in the 72nd minute. Date: 22-05-04 *         Caitlin Munoz played a full game scored in the 45th and created the third goal in the 75th minute as Boston Renegades won 3-1 away to New Hampshire Lady Phantoms. Stacey Stocco also started for Boston and created the opening goal in the 35th minute before she was replaced in the 72nd minute.
