Reigning Hyundai A-League Player of the Year and Qantas Socceroo midfielder Nick Carle has completed his anticipated move to high-flying English Championship side Bristol City.

Carle, could also be joined in England, by his fellow Turkish-based Socceroo Mile Sterjovski, who is set for talks with bottom of the table Premier League club Derby County.

Both players played with the Genclerbirligi club in Turkey, although with different sides, but the players and especially their families have struggled to adapt to the Turkish lifestyle, hence the moves in the January transfer period.

Carle, completed his deal earlier this week, after being granted his working-visa, signing a three-and-a-half year deal with City, who are currently lying in equal first spot, but third on goal difference.

Sterjovski, who played with Genclerberligi-s second side Oftasspor, which also played in the Turkish Super League, is holding talks with Derby, with the view to a move to be completed before this weekend, according to the BBC website.
