The FIFA Live Your Goals campaign is coming back to Australia and will be staged in Tasmania in October.
In a huge coup for the Apple Isle, the 2016 version of the campaign is coming to town from the 10th to the 15th of October.
The campaign involves a host of school and club visits throughout the state, starting with the campaign launch in Launceston before finishing up in Hobart.
There will also be a Westfield Matildas player in Tasmania all week as a FIFA Live Your Goals ambassador.
This will be the third FIFA Live Your Goals campaign to be held in Australia following the success of the previous ones in NSW and the Northern Territory over the last two years.
The campaign was launched at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany in 2011 and has gone on to become an important program in women’s football.
The FIFA Live Your Goals campaign aims to increase the popularity of women’s football locally, nationally and globally, and demonstrate that girls and women can ‘live their goals’ through football.
