How to watch the Westfield Matildas in action this weekend

The Westfield W-League is back after the international break with a host of Westfield Matildas set to take to the field.

Coming off a successful Seven Consulting International series against Chile, 12 members of the squad will run out for their club sides in the Westfield W-League Round 3.

Let’s take a look at when you can catch your Westfield Matildas in action!

Melbourne City vs Melbourne Victory, Friday 7:30PM (AEST)

A massive Melbourne Derby headlines the round and a total of five Westfield Matildas have been named across both squads.

Elise Kellond-Knight, Lydia Williams and Tameka Butt will all likely feature for City while Laura Alleway and Emily Gielnik will don the navy blue.

Newcastle Jets vs Canberra United, Saturday 7:30PM (AEST)

Top-of-the-table Canberra travel to the Hunter to face a Jets side still finding their groove after having a bye in Round 1.

For Canberra, speedster Ellie Carpenter will line-up while the Jets will welcome back skipper Emily Van Egmond.

Perth Glory vs Western Sydney Wanderers, Saturday 7:00PM (Local) (10:00PM (AEST))

Two games in and the Wanderers are pointless despite showing some good form against Brisbane Roar in Round 2.

They may not have any returning Westfield Matildas but the Glory more than make up for that with talisman Sam Kerr back in purple for the clash at Dorrien Gardens.

Brisbane Roar vs Adelaide United, Sunday 3:00PM (Local) (4:00PM (AEST))

The Roar boast a total of three Westfield Matildas in the form of Mackenzie Arnold, Katrina Gorry and Clare Polkinghorne.

Meanwhile experienced Westfield W-League striker Michelle Heyman looks set to lead the line for the Reds when they travel to Brisbane.
