Star attacker Hayley Raso is the latest Westfield Matilda to sign for Brisbane Roar for the upcoming Westfield W-League campaign.

Raso is a firm fan-favourite in Brisbane and was a key member of the Roar’s rise to a third Premiership last campaign.

The 24-year-old - known for the trademark ribbon in her hair when she plays - returns for her third season in Brisbane orange.

“She is an exciting footballer who I’m sure our fans can’t wait to see out on the park terrorising opposition backlines,” Andreatta said.

The classy duo join the likes of Japanese World Cup winner Yuki Nagasato, Orlando Pride duo Chioma Ubogagu and Carson Pickett, and recently announced re-signings Katrina Gorry and Clare Polkinghorne for Roar's 2018/19 title assault.

The new Westfield W-League season begins later this month, with Roar opening the campaign at home against Perth Glory at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday, 28 October.
