Qantas Joeys (U-15) Interim Head Coach Jean-Paul de Marigny has selected a 26-player squad to play two (2) friendly matches against the Japanese U-15 National Team in Canberra on 10 and 12 April 2009.

Jean-Paul de Marigny was recently appointed the interim head coach of the Qantas Joeys after Martyn Crook tragically passed away last December. Current ACTAS Men's Football Head Coach Milan Milovanovic will join de Marigny as the interim assistant coach.

The Qantas Joeys (U-15) squad was selected from the State Institute Challenge which was held in Canberra in January this year. This camp will be the first time this group of players will be together and will be looking to form the nucleus of the squad that will compete at the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U-16 Youth Championships and the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U16 Championships 2010 (Qualifiers) later this year.

The Japanese team will arrive in Australia on 7 April and will also play a trial match against the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) on 8 April in preparation for their matches against the Qantas Joeys.
