Socceroos versus Iraq a sell out

The Qantas Socceroos FIFA World Cup qualifier with Iraq at Stadium Australia is officially sold out

The Qantas Socceroos will be greeted by an 80,000-strong sea of Green and Gold on Tuesday night at Stadium Australia with all general public tickets for the FIFA World Cup Qualifier officially selling out today.

Limited corporate hospitality is still available. To book hospitality visit www.footballaustralia.com.au/hospitality

"Like the famous night against Uruguay in 2005, the stadium will be full of passionate fans doing all they can to inspire the Socceroos to victory," said FFA CEO David Gallop.

"The captain Lucas Neill and the players have made it clear the fans have a crucial role to play. On behalf of FFA I say thank you to the Australian football community for responding by making this a sell out.

"History beckons us on Tuesday night, but we can take nothing for granted as the Socceroos attempt to qualify for their third straight FIFA World Cup finals."

FFA urges fans to leave the car at home and travel to the match on public transport to avoid delays and make sure you don't miss a minute of this historic occasion.

Travel on public transport to and from the game is included in all tickets for the match. Pre-match entertainment starts at 6.20pm and the teams warm up from 6.50pm. Kick-off is 7.30pm.
