Tommy Oar: Very important. A big adv. to have 2 of your closest friends together. We played together at the Roar.
Question: Which current Socceroos players have been the most influential on your career?
Tommy Oar: Mark Schwarzer & @Tim_Cahill because of their professionalism and advice for young players.

Tommy Oar: My idols growing up were @Hkewell10 and Thierry Henry
Question from fan @ajmaclean71: Does TO consider himself more a central playmaker now rather than winger?
Tommy Oar: Traditionally I play wing but this season more in the center. My preference is probably left wing.
Question: OK question to both Tommy and you. Ready for the big game, what are your pre-match rituals?
Tommy Oar: Eating well. Sleep during the day if the game is at night. Nothing superstitious.

Tommy Oar: Qualifying for the 2006 World Cup. The John Aloisi penalty. I was watching with family on the Gold Coast
