Qantas Socceroos midfielder James Troisi is now officially on the books at Juventus.
It may have taken a while to get the paperwork sorted, but James Troisi is now officially on the books of Italian giants Juventus.
Troisi signing on for four years with the current Serie A champions, and while he is signed sealed and delivered it might be a while before he dons the black and white, having been loaned out to fellow Serie A club Atalanta, so Juve can get Manolo Gabbiadini at the club, via Bologna.
In addition to the loan deals, Juventus have also parted with a cool $4.4 million to have Gabbiadini on the books.
The move of Troisi to Serie A has been long mooted and he even knocked back a lucrative deal in the Middle East to chase his dream, and it-s a deal that has left the midfielder happy, according to his father and agent Alby.
"It's a four-year contract and a great opportunity for James who has always wanted to play in Italy," Alby Troisi said.
"It has taken some time to become a reality but he now just wants to get on with his football career and see what it can take him."
