The countdown is on to the Westfield W-League Finals Series with so much at stake in every match from now until the end of the regular season.

With three more massive games to look forward to this weekend, each clubs international stars will be looking to make an impact to inspire their side to victory.

Here’s where you can see some of the Westfield Matildas stars in action in Round 12.

Western Sydney Wanderers v Melbourne Victory, Friday, 5.20pm @ ANZ Stadium

It’s a double-header in Sydney’s west kicking off with the Westfield W-League and the Wanderers’ young squad will be hoping to dent Victory’s faint finals hopes.

The visitors are coming off a huge upset in the Melbourne Derby last weekend, thanks in part to their Westfield Matildas duo in defence of Laura Alleway and keeper Casey Dumont.

Perth Glory v Canberra United, Saturday, 7.30pm @ Hay Park

The loser of this match can almost kiss their finals hopes goodbye meaning it should be a riveting clash in the west.

Glory will again rely on the goals of golden girl Sam Kerr to boost their chances, while 54-cap Matilda Kim Carroll will hope to keep things tight at the other end.

And she’ll have to be on her game with Canberra’s Westfield Matildas stars Michelle Heyman and Ashleigh Sykes in superb form so far in 2018.

United also have experience at the back in young gun Ellie Carpenter.

Melbourne City v Brisbane Roar, Sunday, 4.30pm @ AAMI Park

The final match of the round is an absolute beauty.

City’s title-defence and finals hopes took a dent in the Derby loss last weekend but with the likes of Steph Catley, Larissa Crummer, Alanna Kennedy, Kyah Simon and Lydia Williams in their squad, expect a response.

League-leaders Roar are fresh from the bye and will want to put one hand on the Premiers’ Plate with a win in this one.

There squad is choc-full of Westfield Matildas talent, including Mackenzie Arnold, Tameka Butt, Katrina Gorry, Clare Polkinghorne, Hayley Raso and Emily Gielnik.
