Westfield Matildas striker Sam Kerr has been announced in the National Women’s Soccer League Best XI for 2018.
It’s the second year running the Australian has been recognised for her sensational goal scoring exploits in the top flight of American football.

Kerr once again earned Golden Boot honours this season after firing in 16 goals for Chicago Red Stars, who crashed out of the play-offs earlier this week against North Carolina Courage.
The Westfield Matildas forward was selected alongside a forward line of Seattle Reign star Megan Rapinoe and Courage attacker Crystal Dunn.
Meanwhile, Westfield Matildas goalkeeper Lydia Williams was selected in the 2018 NWSL Second XI for her standout performances between the posts for Seattle Reign.
The experienced shot-stopper featured in 17 matches as she helped Reign finish third in the regular season, winning the Goalkeeper of the Month accolade in August.
Westfield Matildas defender Steph Catley also joins Reign team-mate Williams in the Second XI for her exploits in 2018.
