Sam Kerr will line up against fellow Westfield Matildas stars Alanna Kennedy and Emily Van Egmond when Chicago Red Stars host Orlando Pride in the National Women's Soccer League on Thursday morning (AEST).
Kerr is set for her first home appearance for her new club, Chicago Red Stars, following her blockbuster off-season trade from Sky Blue FC.
Kerr joined Chicago following a record-breaking season for Sky Blue FC, which saw the striker break the single-season goalscoring record (17) and become the league's all-time greatest goalscorer (43).
The Westfield Matildas trio returned to the NWSL on the weekend following their exploits at the 2018 Women's AFC Asian Cup.
Kennedy played a full game for Orlando, while Van Egmond made her club debut off the bench in the 1-1 draw with Seattle Reign FC.
Julie Dolan Medal winner, Kerr, also played a full match for Chicago, registering five shots in a 1-1 draw against Washington Spirit.
