Westfield Matildas and Brisbane Roar defender Clare Polkinghorne has signed for National Women's Soccer League outfit Houston Dash.
The 29-year-old will join the Vera Pauw-coached side pending receipt of her International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 visa, the club announced today.
It will be Polkinghorne's second stint in the United States having made nine appearances for current reigning champions Portland Thorns in 2015.
The Brisbane local helped Roar claim their third Westfield W-League Premiership in 2017/18, sharing the Julie Dolan Medal with Sam Kerr and becoming the first player in the competition's history to register 100 regular season matches.
Polkinghorne also clinched Championships with Brisbane in 2008/09 and 2010/10.
She will take over 100 caps of international experience to Houston and join up with Westfield Matildas team-mate Kyah Simon at the Dash, who currently lie seventh in the NWSL.
