The A-League Women is entering its final few regular season games and the Commonwealth Bank Matildas are once again making headlines.
Melbourne Victory snatched a point in the nation's capital, earning a 2-2 draw with Canberra United midweek.

Katrina Gorry's Brisbane Roar earned a win on the road when they defeated Melbourne City 1-0. City looked a little sparse up forward with no Hannah Wilkinson or Holly McNamara.
Mariel Hecher scored the lone goal of the game for the Roar, outstretching her leg to get on the end of Shea Connors' cross.
Wini Heatley and Emma Checker as part of the Melbourne defence tightened things up and were able to turn the tide. In the final stage of the game, City attacked ferociously putting Jamilla Rankin and the Roar backline under all sorts of pressure.
Checker was particularly dangerous, coming close on two occasions, hitting the woodwork with one of her efforts but City couldn't find the back of the net.
It was a soggy Canberra afternoon with Vicky Linton's side back in action. But the team was on fire with a 3-0 win over the Newcastle Jets.
