CommBank Matildas will be involved on every day of the inaugural Unite Round weekend, with all six A-League Women’s matches being held in Sydney.

Unite Round gets underway on Friday, 5pm AEDT as Melbourne Victory takes on Perth Glory. A win for Victory could place them back in the top six by the end of the weekend, while the Glory will be keen to ensure that the six point gap between them and first-placed Melbourne City does not get any wider.
Lydia Williams has been named in Victory’s extended squad and appears to have recovered from an ankle knock that saw her substituted at half-time last week.
Elise Kellond-Knight and Alex Chidiac are expected to line up in midfield for Jeff Hopkins’ side, while Emily Gielnik could be in line to make her return after injury.
Wellington Phoenix take on the Central Coast Mariners on Friday, 7.45pm AEDT. The Phoenix will be looking to improve their less-than-ideal away form, but the Mariners have proven that they have plenty of bite this season.
Kyah Simon has been spotted in training and may be in line to make her first appearance on a football pitch since 2022.
On Saturday, 5pm AEDT, Canberra United take on Adelaide United. The big talking point for this game is legendary striker Michelle Heyman. She has scored 99 goals in the A-League Women’s, meaning that if she scores against Adelaide she will become the first player to score a century of goals in the competition.
To put that achievement into perspective - the second-highest scorer in the league is Sam Kerr, who is a full 29 goals behind her on 70.
Brisbane Roar will hope to build on their win last week as they take on the Newcastle Jets on Saturday, 7.45pm AEDT. Both teams are capable of exciting performances and fans could be in for a treat with this clash.
Tameka Yallop scored her first goal of the season last week and, if she continues in good form, could help lift her side into the top six.
Joint golden boot leader Sophie Harding will be back in action as the Western Sydney Wanderers take on Melbourne City on Sunday, 5pm AEDT. It is difficult to bet against City on current form – six points on top of the table - but the Wanderers have the pace to exploit any defensive weaknesses and mistakes when playing out from the back.
Finally, Chloe Logarzo’s Western United will be out for revenge in a grand final rematch against Cortnee Vine and Jada Whyman’s Sydney FC. Sydney have the best defensive record in the league by some way but have been hamstrung by a series of draws.

They will be hoping to turn that into three points on Sunday, but Western’s confidence will be sky high after their dismantling of city rivals Victory last week.
Vine has been carrying a calf injury but has been named in Sydney’s extended squad for the weekend, and if fit, may be seen from the bench. Meanwhile, Logarzo’s sparkling form has propelled her to five goals already this season and she will likely be at the centre of the team from Melbourne’s game plan.
